El Museo Taurino

A visit to the Bullfighting Museum is a great opportunity to experience and understand this art form that has been a part of the Spanish culture for centuries.  Situated within one of the most prestigious bullrings built in the 18th century.

 

La Giralda

The most emblematic monument of Sevilla, and one of the most admired towers of the world.  The old minaret of the former great mosque in early Sevilla was finished in 1198.  The mosque was replaced by the cathedral in the early 1400's.

 

Reales Alcázares

The Royal Fortresses includes a group of buildings, from the primative Arab fortress to the following extensions of patios and palaces that were built by successive monarchs.  One of Sevilla's Al-andaluz gems.

 

 

Plaza de España (España square)

Decorative tile representing the 54 provinces of Spain.  The Plaza was built for the 1929 World's Fair.

 

Museo de Bellas Artes de Sevilla - Museum of Fine Arts of Sevilla

Installed in the old convent of the "Merced Calzada".  Built in 1612.  Holds a large collection of the most famous Spanish painters from the 17th century including Valdes Leal, Murillo y Zurburán.
