» MADRID SEVILLA JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA CADIZ

Madrid is famous for its countless pubs and taverns.  "Old Madrid" or Madrid Antiguo's oldest pubs are decorated with the original tiles used as advertisements in the 1800's.

Monuments and fountains are scattered throughout the majestic city of Madrid.

The bronze statues of Don Quijote and Sancho Panza are found in front of the prodigious monument built in honor of Cervantes, one of Spain's most notorious authors.

Madrid is the cultural center of Spain for Flamenco shows, theatre, opera, museums, sporting events, trade shows, fashion and much more!

La Puerta de Alcalá, now at a busy intersection near  the center of the city, was once a main portal of entrance to royal Madrid.

The Retiro Park was used privately by the royal family from 1632.  Elaborate pageants and bullfights and mach naval battles were put on for the royalty's entertainment.  It is now one of Madrid's most popular places for relaxing, now open to the public.
